Construction is going great! I've just finished up the blueprints and designs for our Company's tavern and the garden path outside of it, and it's gonna be so lovely.

Apillini and I have taken a break and let the construction crews take care of things back in Zazzesspur for awhile, so that we could make a trip back out to the Deep. We'll need to get into the heart of the people to find good workers to fill the ranks of our Company once the headquarters is finally done. It seems, though, that we won't have an easy time of it. The little halfling brat Griggs Brierfeet, who -claims- to be a journalist, is spewing gossip about Apillini and trying to defame our reputation before we even have the Company fully operational! Didn't do him much good, though, as he simply got thrown in the brig by Deathlord Gwain, Sergeant in the Waterdeep City Watch.

Too bad all nuisances wouldn't get thrown in jail like that.

Just got word from Apillini that our application to the town zoning commitee of Zazzesspur has been approved. The Company is getting its own Headquarters! Finally, looks like we're gonna be moving up in the world. About time, too, considering all we've done to get here...

It'll soon be time to set down roots and start growing the company out, recruiting more workers, managing clientelle, overseeing payments, shipments...it's gonna be interesting for the next little while...!

Just on a side note...why the Hells does everyone think they can push everyone else around just because they think it's fine...? Two incidents, one that I saw, and one that I experienced, are making the wait to move to Zazzesspur way to long for me to handle. I first witnessed a hopeful Waterdeep Watch member, I learned later his name was Wrevas, SHOVE a Watch Wizard completely out of the area, probably about a good fifteen to twenty foot distance, because he was casting spells in Market Square. I dunno about anyone else, but the Watch Wizards are the ONLY people I'd feel comfortable allowing spellcasting for, and I CERTAINLY wouldn't be shoving him around if he were to be my future superior! The Watch Wizard turned on him and revoked his recruitment, ending his very short career as a hopeful Watch member. Then shortly after this, another Watch member, Raona Corbin, some Tyrran, flew into Apillini for ragging out Wrevas for being an idiot! It's great when we have Watchmen and Watchwomen sticking up for their friends who are enrolled to join and condone them pushing others around as they see fit.

The second incident involved myself, and, to this day, I still don't know whether or not it involved the Watch or not. I was minding my own business in Market Square, chatting with a pair of Sunite ladies, when -another- Tyrran shows up, this one a priestess named Maybel. She takes one look at me and tells me I should sheathe my blades! Now, keeping in mind that I always like to be ready for the worst, I was not holding my sword or stiletto in any form of violent manner, so I politely asked her to show me her Watch badge, to which she either could or would not. I cared not if it -was- a could or would situation, the matter pissed me off enough that I simply felt the urge to leave, so I mockingly sheathed the just before exiting the area.

It seems to me like the faithful of Tyr are turning into that which they despise begin called, Tyrants. May Zazzesspur be populated with many more intelligent and common-sensical folk who don't throw their beliefs in everyone's face and shove people they don't like around the market whenever they please.
